Kelli recognized her passion for movement at a young age. Dancing for 16 years provided opportunities for her to dance as a contestant on Star Search and Perform as a dancer for NBA half time shows. In 2004, Kelli discovered her talent for Spinning and has become a spin instructor through MADD DOGG Athletics, Inc. Soon after, she discovered Pilates! She is still continues to practice as a certified BASI Pilates instructor (Body Arts and Science International) and is also certified through LAGREE Fitness.

Kelli’s dream was always to own her own studio and was thrilled to have the opportunity to own Pilates Plus Long Beach. Her passion is to motivate others to build strong and lean bodies. Kelli‘s classes inspire students to build self-esteem and confidence. She wants her students to feel that they have accomplished something powerful in their day, feeling more energy and having a well-toned body. Kelli’s classes will always leave you with a natural high of a full-out endorphin rush. Let’s get fit!

Dawn is a Long Beach local whose passion for Pilates Plus started when she joined the studio about 5 years ago. “For me it was the perfect balance between strength, flexibility, and cardio. I had never been a gym person, but after a few classes I was addicted.” Dawn believes the group format encourages you to push yourself with every workout. “I have seen the amazing results in both myself and those around me. That is motivation to get up in the morning and go to the studio.” Dawn’s passion for the workout led to her Lagree Fitness certification and teaching. You will see her both teaching and working out at the studio. “I won’t ask you to do anything I can not do!”

Eva left the San Joaquin Valley in 2010 to attend university at Cal State Fullerton. While pursuing a BFA in Theatre/Acting, her interest in yoga grew as a way to support dance and movement training. After graduating, Eva received her certification through Purple Yoga’s teacher training program and has worked primarily with Yoga Across America, bringing yoga to High School students for their general PE courses in the Long Beach area. She has also received her certification to be a instructor through Lagree Fitness in August 2015, which has been an amazing addition to her fitness knowledge and lifestyle. Eva believes that yoga and Pilates is a fantastic way to find a deep sense of connection with your true self and the world, while working your body to find ease within strength.

KATRINA

In 2010, Katrina’s life changed, thanks to a little machine called the Megaformer. Prior to that year, she spent her spare time training and running half marathons, teaching yoga on paddleboards or putting in hours taking spin classes. But this machine could take strong muscles and fatigue them to the point of muscle failure; and she couldn’t be more excited!

When Katrina isn’t teaching, she’s eating! Katrina believes that food is meant to make us healthier, and she loves cooking and finding new ways to make nourishing foods taste delicious. Her motto is, “If I like you, I feed you!” So don’t be surprised if she offers you a little nibble of something after class.

Katrina became Lagree certified and has over 5 years of experience training men and women of all ages. She loves that the Megaformer provides a challenging workout to even the strongest of athletes, but is safe for any age or ability level. In her class, you can expect a fun and challenging workout, to the beat of new music and sing-along classics. You’ll sweat, you’ll shake, and you’ll leave more energized and relaxed then when you arrived.

Jenn is a Southern California native who has always enjoyed the challenge of a new workout. She took her first Lagree class almost 3 years ago and was hooked from day one.

She recently got her certification with the hope of inspiring others and sharing her passion
for a workout that is always challenging. She is a strong believer in the mind/body
connection and enjoys pushing her students to find that extra connection to take their
workout to a different level.

Southern California native Alex loves dogs, sunshine, teaching, family and good vibes. She spent her younger years as a competitive gymnast, dancer, and cheerleader; had some incredible years learning the art of pole fitness and aerial acrobatics (read: circus freak); and ultimately found her calling living and teaching pilates and indoor cycling in the beautiful city of Long Beach.

You can expect a high energy class with emphases in technique and muscle focus education. Come ready to work, sweat, and “shake” your way into a fitter, stronger you!
